Renico Construction Newsletter- February 2024.

Category Newsletters

Within a blink of an eye, we bid farewell to 2023 and are well into the month of February! The days are slowly becoming shorter and although Gauteng will reach temperatures well above 30 degrees this week, one can already feel the effects of the looming change of seasons.

This year not only the USA and UK but also South Africa will head to their respective polls to cast their votes and by doing so elect their leaders for the next term. Although it will be interesting to see who will be victorious in both the USA and UK elections, the ruling ANC should once again garner the most votes in South Africa. There are however predictions that they will lose their outright majority and will, for the first time in thirty years not be the outright ruling party in the country.

I predict that we will soon see the first repo rate cut. Although unlikely to be substantial at first, this will hopefully be the start of further cuts going forward. This should bring some relief to most South Africans who are battling the rising costs of living brought on by high fuel prices and the excessive price increases of basic goods.

After handing over three more completed Brendavere Estate homes on the 1st of December we are down to the final sixteen homes which are in different phases of completion. We now have just one cluster home still available at R3,620,000 inclusive of bond and transfer fees. Not only does this home offer three bedrooms with three en-suite bathrooms, but it is also further complimented by staff accommodation and a generously sized double garage. Contact Kent Gush Properties on 011-465-5362 to arrange a private viewing of this stunning property.

We have reached the 20% sold out mark at our Fernhill development in Bryanston! Once we have secured two more sales, this will trigger the construction phase of the remaining homes within the development.

With the first sales already concluded at our Riverspray Lifestyle Estate in Vanderbijlpark, we are only awaiting council plan approval for the construction of the first eight homes to commence. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full title home within an established lifestyle estate on the banks of the Vaal River, which lies within a kilometre of the proposed Vaal Mega City development for which civil construction has already commenced.

With civil works due to commence in the coming weeks at the Van der Hoff Park Ext 72 township in Potchefstroom, this will bring bulk services to our planned Uitsig residential development adjacent to the Vyfhoek Shopping and Retail Centres, as well as the new Elemente project right on the edge of the Potchefstroom Dam.

The Uitsig sectional title development will offer forty-three free standing simplex homes with prices starting at R1,995,000 for a three bed, two-bathroom home of 160m².

Contact Beatrice Joubert on 071 674 5673 for more info on this brand-new development.
