With yet another year about to be crossed off the calendar one can only wonder what 2025 will hold for us. Many countries around the globe are struggling with tough economic conditions; the constant rise in the cost-of-living being the biggest cause of concern. The ongoing wars in Ukraine and the Middle East are showing no signs of de-escalation and it seems as if the world is currently sitting on a powder keg where a single spark can lead to catastrophic consequences. We can only hope and pray that sanity will prevail, and that common ground can be found between all parties.

All our Fernhill units will be at roof height when our construction teams pack away their tools next Thursday. The first roof trusses will be delivered to site within the second week of January with the roof sheeting being placed immediately thereafter. Having all our roof structures up is a major milestone as certain work can still be done during wet and rainy spells, thus reducing time lost in the construction process.
At our iThemba site in Albertsdal we have completed the show block to the point where we will attend to the fitment of tiles, kitchens and finishing touches upon our return to site in January. The first construction teams will also move onto site to start with the installation of the water and sewer services to the remaining stands and the pouring of the first foundations will commence shortly thereafter. I expect that construction to all ninety-six homes will be well under way when we reach February.

With only two homes still unsold in our Riverspray Lifestyle Estate second phase, I have already given instructions to enrol our next two phases with the National Building Registration Council - the "NHBRC". This will enable us to immediately commence with the construction of homes in these phases once the building industry reopens in January.
